Mission
EdSSA was founded out of a specific frustration: every machine-to-machine authentication product on the market assumed the network was always there, the auth server always answered, and the cryptography you chose today would still be unbroken in 2045. None of those assumptions survives the operational realities of drones, satellites, defence operations, industrial-edge installations, or any of the other domains where authentication has to keep working when the network does not.
We are a Helsinki-based deeptech company building a stateless, post-quantum, decentralised M2M authentication protocol family. The protocol is patent-pending. The cryptography is post-quantum from the first handshake. The architecture is sovereign by design. Two parties bootstrap once, then keep authenticating each other for years — through link drops, jamming, satellite handoffs, multi-day disconnects — without ever calling home.
We are early. The cards on the wall today are mostly placeholders. Customers, press, advisors, team — all populating. The technology, however, is not a placeholder. The patent is filed. The protocol is real. The reference implementations are running.
