EdSSA is a Helsinki-based deeptech company building post-quantum, decentralised, machine-to-machine authentication for harsh-conditions operators — drones, satellites, defence, industrial-edge, pharma, and other verticals where centralised credential vaults cannot reach. The protocol is patent-pending and post-quantum from the first handshake.
EdSSA is a Helsinki-based deeptech company building post-quantum, decentralised, machine-to-machine authentication for harsh-conditions operators. The DSSA protocol family — Nano, Fleet, Swarm, Relay, Edge, and Orbit — provides authentication that runs without a central authority in the hot path, in microseconds, post-quantum from the first handshake. After a single bootstrap, two parties keep authenticating each other for years through link drops, jamming, satellite handoffs, and multi-day disconnects, without further communication to a credential authority. The architecture is sovereign by design — built and operated in the European Union, using only NIST and ETSI standardised cryptographic primitives. The protocol is patent-pending. EdSSA was founded in 2026.
